Ian balances his passion for the sport between his own racing and his dedicated work with athletes. USA Triathlon named Ian the Developmental Coach of the Year for 2006 for his continued persistence of education and experience. His certifications include Level III USA Triathlon Certified Coach, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Level II USA Cycling Coach, a masters swim coach, and is a F.I.S.T certified & level III Fit Kit certified bike fitter, as well as a USAC certified mechanic.
